k... no blah blah.. heres a screen shot of my lastest PD/ID work.. its still a concept.. hope to make it by next month end.. showing rendering in PS & took upto 3hrs for the entire work..
Hi guys,
just thought of uploading few pics of completed proto here..

wow, looks great,...and its in black :P
ReplyDeleteyo o.. i promised i'll post it.. since u've already made one.. critic this for technicalities.. i'm already forseeing some probs with its rendition.. what do u say?
ReplyDeletelooks cool...And a great concept!!!!!!.
ReplyDeletebelieve me or not it ,I also thought of a similar concept when i was in IISc.Its really looks GenX guiter type.
Franchis ki tarah tu bhi leke khara hota naa?? he..he..
By the way, what is its name?
Is it a 3D or photoshop? Why not u give some theme background(like..music signal)
ReplyDeletethe most visible contraint i see [apart from it sounding good, u need to experiment for that; either virtual simulation or actual prototype testing] is that the electronics will require some space. the std EMG pickups are tall [>25mm, see to that. the circuitary requires some space, the capacitor, selector switches, wires, etc need space for routing, hence u might end up with a hollow section in the middle which thin walls which will reduce its stiffness. the more stiff the body; the better the sound.
ReplyDeletealso for harmonics to work, the node distance between the bridge and neck should be taken carefully. for the std fret designs of strat type guitars; the distance is ~646mm. this is very important in order for the fret system to work.
ReplyDeletei think Jackson guitar's came up with the idea of fine tuning at the back and dry tuning in the head, that includes the lock nuts in the neck. change it a little bit to avoid some IPR stuff.
ReplyDeletetheir is another thing with arrow body guitars, resting in the lap is difficult,..but then again, nothing a sling and a power stance can't do.
ReplyDeleteoi sale Franchis.Sale mere ko puch ke hi guiter banaya tha abhi fande mat de use.he..he...
ReplyDeletethanks man francis.. i tried a mock to understand the width at neck is a bit low i this design.. but then thought change can be made after the components are bought. i'm waiting for that ham pik.. u rem th guy paul told.. its a good collection ther.. hope nxt week i'll b able 2 buys components and proto by month end..
ReplyDeleteabey neel saale.. tu aisa sab sochega.. abhi keliye wahi rehne de.. aur Mr. Electronic engineer, most probably i'll send u the parts requirements.. u'll have to design the circuitry for me.. i'm not able to find the circuit & spec for a 3 ham,3 volume, 2 tone array..
ReplyDeletecool man!!
ReplyDeleteonce again..to everyone. keep ur works uploading!!
man, the finished one has come out neat. now all its missing is some graphic stickers n stuff. then u can sell it to me :P
