guitar

its been a long time i've added something here.. great to see tht gud and great things are being posted..
k... no blah blah.. heres a screen shot of my lastest PD/ID work.. its still a concept.. hope to make it by next month end.. showing rendering in PS & took upto 3hrs for the entire work..

  3. looks cool...And a great concept!!!!!!.
    believe me or not it ,I also thought of a similar concept when i was in IISc.Its really looks GenX guiter type.

  5. the most visible contraint i see [apart from it sounding good, u need to experiment for that; either virtual simulation or actual prototype testing] is that the electronics will require some space. the std EMG pickups are tall [>25mm, see to that. the circuitary requires some space, the capacitor, selector switches, wires, etc need space for routing, hence u might end up with a hollow section in the middle which thin walls which will reduce its stiffness. the more stiff the body; the better the sound.

  6. also for harmonics to work, the node distance between the bridge and neck should be taken carefully. for the std fret designs of strat type guitars; the distance is ~646mm. this is very important in order for the fret system to work.

  7. i think Jackson guitar's came up with the idea of fine tuning at the back and dry tuning in the head, that includes the lock nuts in the neck. change it a little bit to avoid some IPR stuff.

  8. their is another thing with arrow body guitars, resting in the lap is difficult,..but then again, nothing a sling and a power stance can't do.

  10. thanks man francis.. i tried a mock to understand the width at neck is a bit low i this design.. but then thought change can be made after the components are bought. i'm waiting for that ham pik.. u rem th guy paul told.. its a good collection ther.. hope nxt week i'll b able 2 buys components and proto by month end..

  11. abey neel saale.. tu aisa sab sochega.. abhi keliye wahi rehne de.. aur Mr. Electronic engineer, most probably i'll send u the parts requirements.. u'll have to design the circuitry for me.. i'm not able to find the circuit & spec for a 3 ham,3 volume, 2 tone array..
